Francs Food & Philosophy
Fabulous, freshly-cooked French food in a fun, friendly ambience - that's what Francs is famous for - all washed down with fine French wines or a flute full of fizz...
And with menus for any occasion - quick lunches, early suppers, fixed price, a la carte, menu enfant - every day is a celebration at Francs. Chacun son goût, as they say in France.
If you've spent any time touring around Europe you'll have noticed that, even in the tiniest village, no excuse for a party is missed. It could be a local harvest, the first tasting of a new wine, cheese or spirit; it really doesn't matter... any excuse will do and, before you know it, the flags are up, the tables are laid, the corks are out and the celebrations begin. In England this celebration of the local produce rarely happens - except at Francs!!
We're also famous for our 'first-picking' fêtes - spring asparagus, summer garlic, autumn wild mushrooms and winter pork. The menus are unashamedly seasonal with only the freshest ingredients... there's no freezer at Francs!!
