The French Franc may be dead - lost to European conformity - but here in Chester, Francs is very much alive. We've just celebrated our 23rd anniversary and, true to tradition, we're not conforming to anything!

We like to think we add a special ingredient to French cuisine - fun!! The French just don't have their own word for it. Here at Francs, we take fun very seriously...

With three dining rooms buzzing with the residents of Chester, tourists from all over the world and local business people, the atmosphere at Francs is legendary - an essential part of what we are.

We're not traditionalists but we like to keep the very best of rustic ideas and throw in a few of our own. After 23 years, and more than a million meals, we think we've got the recipe just right. Hopefully you'll be able to make it along soon for a very special Francs welcome.
